FAQs - How long does it take for documents to be processed?

The typical processing time for a filing submitted to the Department of State is 3-5 business days. You can find the average processing time within the past week by accessing the logged in version of Business Filing Services. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Login at https://hub.business.pa.gov .
• Once on the Business Hub homepage, under My Network Portal, click the Department of State's Business Filing Services link.
• On the resulting page, on the left click Dashboard.
• In the Business Filing tile, click Week.
• After a few seconds, you should see various data points, including the Average Days to Process.
  
  The number shown is the average number of days it is taking the Department of State to process new/amended filings over the past week. This should be a good approximation of how long it would take them to process your filing if submitted today.
